കാര്യസ്ഥൻ - തേച്ചു കുളിക്കാൻ ഇന്ദുലേഖ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ദേഹം നന്നായി വെളുക്കുംത്രേ... അപ്പോൾ നമ്പൂരി - ഉവ്വോ?... ന്നാ ശങ്കരാ... താമസിക്കണ്ടാ... നോം കുളിക്കാൻ പോണു... എവിടെ ആ കേമി? ഇങ്കട്  വിളിക്ക്യാ...

മകന് വാരികയിലെ നക്ഷത്രഫലം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിയ്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ട് അച്ഛന്:  “എടാ മനുഷ്യന് ചന്ദ്രനിലെത്തി. എന്നിട്ടും പണ്ടുകാലത്തെ മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെ നീ നക്ഷത്രഫലവും നോക്കിയിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു. വിഡ്ഡി..!”   “അച്ഛന് അങ്ങനെയൊന്നും പറയണ്ട. കുട്ടികളെ ടെസ്റ്റ്യൂബില് സൃഷ്ടിയ്ക്കുന്ന കാലമാണിത്. എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങളാരെങ്കിലും ആ പഴഞ്ചന് രീതി മാറ്റുന്നുണ്ടോ..! “  'അമ്മ മുഖത്തു വെള്ളം തളിച്ചപ്പൊഴാണു അച്ഛനു ബോധം വീണത്.😝

കുളിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് ശരിക്കും ആരോഗ്യത്തിനു നല്ലത് ആണ്. തൊലിപ്പുറത്ത് ഇരിക്കുന്ന അണുക്കളെല്ലാം പച്ചവെള്ളം കിട്ടാണ്ട് ചാവണം.

I was talking to a Chinese physician and after knowing my occupation he advised: "You must exercise more. Don't buy drinks from stalls or drink beer. Stay away from red wine especially. Drink more plain water. Don't drive when going out. Take public transport or walk. Don't eat out. . Eat less meat especially seafood. Keep to vegetarian diet if possible.  I nodded and asked " May I know what's wrong with me?" He answered "your salary is too low!"

A young, well qualified Officer left the job, emigrated to Canada for better prospects and applied for a salesman's job at Vancouver's premier downtown department store.
